Picture-a-Day {December 15-21}

I just can't seem to get on the ball with trying to get up to date with the blog posts I want to do. These pictures date back to almost a month ago.

December was a busy month and Mason was such a sweet boy and put up with me dragging him all over town to get things done. One day I went into his room and he was just laying in his tunnel with his feet sticking out. It was odd because this boy is never still, so this made me smile....I thought maybe he was learning the art of relaxing, but now I see he was just testing it out and decided that relaxing is definitely not for him....he has to constantly be moving. But I'm glad I have this brief moment documented.

You know how Mason loves water? Well, I couldn't resist letting him go out and splash in the puddles one day. We don't have rain boots but this was still a fun activity that left an impression on this little boy. Now our routes on rainy days have become less direct, and you will find us snaking through the parking lot on the way to the car in search of a puddle to stomp through.

Grandmama and Granddaddy gave Mason some Christmas gifts one day when we were there playing, and Granddaddy got out some tools to take the little fire truck out of its packaging. Why are toys so hard to get out of the box?! I just love how Mason has his hands on Granddaddy's knees, watching him carefully as he works.

My mom's side of the family always gets together the Sunday before Christmas, and here are the three little ones on that side of the family with Granddaddys....their Great-Granddaddy. Ella, Mason, and Caitie.....they were 1, 2 & 3 years old this year. :)

Poppy (my dad) got a new boat and Mason was checking it out. He LOVES Poppy and talks about him all the time. I guess he does have a lot of fun toys to play with.

We visited Santa and that did not go over well. :)

Some of the ladies from the group of photographer's I am friends with got together for a little play date before Christmas and we did this little set up to take pictures of the kids. I'll do another post with more pictures of Mason from this day because they are so cute.

I think I have mentioned before how Mason loves little chairs and stools. He likes to line them up in the living room and point to us and tell us "seat"! We each take our places and he just looks around so gladly.
