Someone's really been enjoying this three-wheeled Christmas present. I can't wait for the weather to warm up (and dry off) so we can be outside enjoying it more often.
We met in college at Auburn University where Jeremy was recruited to the swim team from his home country the Bahamas. Heather came to Auburn from North Alabama for 5 long years of architecture school. We were married in June of 2005 and moved to Charlotte, NC in 2007 for Jeremy to continue to train for his third (and final) Olympics in swimming. Since Beijing '08, we grew our family by one precious little boy, Mason, and we are currently in the process of adopting from the Bahamas. Jeremy teaches 5th grade at an inner city school and coaches swimming on the side. Heather works part time as an architect, and is always in the middle of a project at home. In 2010, we wanted to be closer to one of our families, but weren't quite ready to make the leap to the Bahamas so we moved back to Alabama. We really love it here, but there might be an island move in our future. We'll just have to wait and see!
Instagram Updates
MASON
Mason Daniel Knowles arrived April 25, 2010. We couldn't possibly be more excited and in love.
CHLOE
Our shy calico girl. Chloe likes to sleep on her back, hide from visitors, and only drinks running water.
TIM
Our affectionate boy cat. He fetches, cuddles, and always wants more attention. Oh yeah, he's a little overweight too.
The Goal and The Glory is a recently published book of inspiring stories about Christian athletes. It features two stories about Jeremy's swimming career and his faith. You can order the book at Amazon.com.
